ကြန္ကရိအမိုးမ်ားတြင္ (EncapsalatedCremics) သံုးစြဲျခင္းေၾကာင့္ အမိုးနွင့္ အျပင္နံရံမွအပူခ်ိန္ကိုေလ်ာ့က်ေစပါသည္။ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ အေဆာက္အဦးအတြင္းသို႔အပူစီး၀င္မႈ၊ ၀င္ေရာက္မႈနွုန္းကို ေလ်ာ့က်ေစပါသည္။ ထိုအခါ အေဆာက္အဦးမွ အပူျပန္ျခင္း(Heat again)မွာလည္းေလ်ာ့နည္းသြားပါသည္။ အခန္းအတြင္းသံုး(Air Con)ေအးျမမႈမွာအေဆာက္အဦးအပူခ်ိန္ ေလ်ာ့က်မွဳေၾကာင့္ လုပ္ေဆာင္မွဳစြမ္းအားေလ်ာ့နည္းသြားပါသည္။ တစ္နည္း(Air Con)ကုန္က်စရိတ္(မီတာခ Air Con သက္တမ္း)က်ဆင္းေစပါသည္။ သတၱဳအမိုးမွာမူအပူထြက္ျခင္းနည္းပါးျခင္းအပူေငြ႕ထုတ္လုပ္မွဳ အားနည္းျခင္းေၾကာင့္ အေဆာက္အဦးအပူျပန္မွဳ ျမင့္မားပါသည္။ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ (Air Con)မ်ားနွင့္ ေလ၀င္ေလထြက္ ေကာင္းမြန္ေစရန္ လ်ွပ္စစ္စြမ္းအားအသံုးခ်မွဳမွာ ျမင့္မားပါသည္။ Super Heat Shieldအသံုးျပဳျခင္းျဖင့္ ကြန္ကရိအမိုးကဲ့သို့ အလားတူအပူျပန္မွဳကိုေလ်ာ့က်ေစျပီး(Air Con)အတြက္ မီတာခကိုသက္သာေစပါသည္။

Methods of Usage and Application

Surface Preparation

Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry, free from oil, wax, dirt and other loose matter.

Application

On surfaces such as old or new concrete, metal or timber, a multi-purpose water-based primer such as DuraPRIME-WB is recommended. Allow DuraPRIME-WB to fully dry (~2 to 3 hours) before coating over it. On smooth concrete or metal surfaces, a solvent based primer such as DuraPRIME-SB may be more suitable. Super HeatShield can be coated over most existing, competent paints or coatings. Overcoating of some existing paints may require a Primer / Sealer application first. Adhesion testing is also recommended prior to overcoating existing paints. In such cases where a Primer / Sealer isrepuired, DuraPRIME WB is recommended. Very dry, porous surfaces should be lightly moistened with water prior to application of DuraPRIME WB. 3 (three) coats of SuperHeatShield are recommended to be applied to achieve the repuired DFT. The recoat time for SuperHeatShield is about 4 – 6 hours depending on prevailing atmospheric and ambient conditions.

Usage Rates

Approximately 3 ~ 5 square meters per litre per coat should be used during application, depending on the porosity and contour of the substrate surfaces and the DFT desirec. On surfaces such as heavy render and porous concrete blocks, consumption rates should be increased to achieve a minimum of 400 microns DFT ( dry film thickness). Actual total usage of the product on these surfaces may average 2 ~ 3 square metres per litre.

Precautions

As Super HeatShield when applied to exterior walls does provide a textured decorative finish coating, it is the responsibility of the principal contractors to ensure that during the application of the product, no activities are allowed near the painted areas which would cause dust or other air-borne matter to fall onto the existing finishing coat.

Clean Up

Clean up fresh, uncured material with water. A general purpose solvent may be used to assist the removal of partially cured product.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Super HeatShield is an water-based,ceramic coating specially formulated with high performance synthetic elasomers and advance materials to provide aflexible, elastomeric Heat Insulation and Waterproof coating for roofs and exterior walls.The cured membrane is tough, durable, UV resistant and totally seamless.The specially selected synthetic elastomers used in the membrane it to move with the substrate to accommodate surfacial expansions during cyclic heating and cooling regimes on roofs and exterior walls.

USES

Super HeatShield can be used in all exposed environments,and on almost all surfaces,includingmetal,concrete, concrete block, GRC, timber, brick. It can also be used over asphaltic concrete surfaces and bituminous roofing membranes.

PERFORMANCE & CAPABLITY

SuperHeatShield is totally unlike ordinary heat reflective coating such as aluminum paints. The fully encapsulated ceramics microfabric of the Super HeatShield coating contains microscopic inter-layers of air voids that dramatically reduce head transfer and heat retention,and hence prevents heat penetration and conduction into the coated areas.

Super HeatShield is not a reflective coating and as such, its heat insulation capability is not impaired even if the coating becomes dull or dirty from exposure to dusty environments, or even if the insulation coating is coated over with other exterior coatings.

Super HeatShield has been assessed to provide insulation with at least an R rating of R 2.5(AS2627). This can be translated to be approximately equivalent to 6 inches of batt insulation. A three coat build-up system of Super HeatShield can be expected to provice energy savings of about 0.4 ~ 0.5 BTU per square metre of area exposed to heat.

On concrete roofs, the enscapsulated ceramics reduce exterior surface and roof temperatures, thereby reducing the rate of heat transfer into the interior of buildings. When building heat gain is reduced, the air conditioning load required by buildings coated with Super HeatShield is reduced, thus reducing air conditioning costs.

Metal roofs, because of their low emissivity, radiate poorly and hence significantly increases building heat again thereby increasing energy usage for ventilation and air-conditioning. In this instance, Super HeatShield when used on metal roofs, similarly helps to reduce heat gain by buildings and hence save air conditioning costs too.
